ECW – Episcopal Church Women

The purpose of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) shall be to carry out the ministry of Worship, Mission, Fellowship and Advocacy in the Episcopal Church.

All women who attend All Saints’ Church, by virtue of their baptism, are members of the ECW.

ECW meets on the second Wednesday of each month (January – December) excluding July and August. The group hosts a Christmas and Spring Luncheon on our regular meeting days in December and June. All women are welcome to attend these luncheons.

Our meetings begin at 11:30 AM in Friendship Hall. We dine on sandwiches/salads brought from home and enjoy beverages and delicious desserts provided by our monthly hostesses. Following a brief business meeting, our group enjoys fellowship and participates in an activity or project benefiting All Saints’ Church or one of the charitable organizations the E.C.W. supports.

ECW and the Spiritual Growth Committees co-sponsor yearly Advent and Lenten Quiet Days. We are looking forward to this year’s pre-Advent Day on November 18 from 9 to 3 PM. We will explore “All God’s Mission’ under the leadership of The Rev. Ed. Shiley and Mrs. Kim Shiley. We hope to see you there.

Each May, the ECW along with The Breakfast Club, co-sponsor the Family Corporate Communion on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. This past year, after worshipping together, we dined on a delicious breakfast and enjoyed wonderful “Mummers” music and song performed by Wayne Lepp. Many attendees “strutted” as Wayne played familiar tunes. Although the weather was overcast and raining, a joyous morning was had by everyone who attended.
